I would imagine with a two-story house that they'll need big machinery to lift, and that's just cool! :)Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12870936898058094672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779127886799985315.post-26857185692948192942012-10-21T00:04:47.299-04:002012-10-21T00:04:47.299-04:00I agree about it depending on community tocommunit...I agree about it depending on community tocommunity. Also depends on how many lots need work on. In our case, we bought the last lot, so right now the guys are workingonjust3 lotsandI am guessing they want to get this community out ofthe 'working' stage anddone!:) But one thing that's interesting is that although we were the last one's to sign (for the last lot), our house is the farthestalongamongthe 3 lots left.

So happy for your progress! And I didn't knowputting the roof up would be exciting. I should maybe go again tmw. I think our roof should be going up then :Dymkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14484302657685721244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779127886799985315.post-48249150447864428352012-10-20T21:48:42.382-04:002012-10-20T21:48:42.382-04:00I think the difference between our two houses has ...I think the difference between our two houses has to do with the neighborhoods. Nadase was told that another house is going to take precedence, if I'm understanding the situation correctly, and we don't have anything like that. I've also been told by our (completely non-biased! sure...) SR that our division is one of the best in the company, so perhaps that has something to do with the speediness. The fact that our contract says Nov/Dec might be a factor too, though I'm not really sure how that works. So in other words...I don't know. :DAmandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12870936898058094672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779127886799985315.post-13166282058094101292012-10-20T21:24:34.799-04:002012-10-20T21:24:34.799-04:00Amanda and Nadase, I don't what factors decide...Amanda and Nadase, I don't what factors decide in each house getting such different closing dates. I look at both your lots and it seems like Nadase is a little further along, maybe just a step but you are saying Amanda is closing first?
We are also building a Rome, they started framing Thursday and today we had two floors! Roof was also in the fronyard so it should be up by tmw since the guys were working on the weekend. Our closing date is Dec 5th according to PM.ymkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14484302657685721244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779127886799985315.post-19444675444935609192012-10-20T13:14:57.230-04:002012-10-20T13:14:57.230-04:00LOL Our PM is confirmed with that date! I would definitely check every day! These moments are so special! We both may begin framing on Saturday--it's going to be a bit cloudy but I think they will still get started. Fingers crossed!

BTW-you will be closing way before I do--your clock says 60 days and our closing is 30 days later.RickandNadasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440625366611097007noreply@blogger.com
